Fish Chickpeas Stew
We will
need, fish cut into bite size bits, sliced onions, garlic, cooked chickpeas,
chilli, salt, turmeric flour, water & oil.
In a
mixing bowl with flour add salt and turmeric and dust the fish ready for
frying.
Get your
hot and slowly add the dusted fish & fry for about 4 mins, then remove
& set aside.
Filter the
oil to remove any flour and use a small amount to cook – This oil has lots of
flavour.
Add the
onions, Turmeric, Garlic and cook for about 4 mins.
Now add
the cooked chickpeas stir and cook for a further 3 to 4 mins.
Now add
the fish stir & cover cook for 4 mins.
Finally
add fresh chilli and a touch of cold water, again cover lower the heat and cook
for around 5 mins
